About

A quick history

Smiggle, Australia’s hottest stationery brand, was born in 2003 when its founder noticed a gap in the market for colourful, fun, fashion-forward stationery. The first Smiggle store opened in South Yarra, Melbourne, and word spread fast about the bright pens, notebooks and gadgets that filled a tiny, but very special space. The concept took off and the company soon hit 20 stores, where it caught the eye of the Just Group – Australasia’s most exciting fashion & apparel retailer. Smiggle joined the strong portfolio of brands at the Just Group in August 2007 and has not looked back since! In December 2008 Smiggle jumped the seas and opened its first international store in New Zealand. It’s all part of the plan to be the world’s most famous stationery brand.

Our products

The product range is now bigger and better than ever, with the team at the Smiggle Design Lab drawing inspiration from all over the globe. Our ultimate goal is to inspire and develop the creative spirits of our customers, by delivering original, fun and affordable stationery. Smiggle products are all about great design and innovation, bold colour, quirky graphics, great value and most of all – giving our fans the tools they need to have fun!

Our stores

We think we’ve created a place that’s well worth a peek. It’s small, it’s not spacious, and it’s incredibly bright, with friendly and passionate Smigglers who will happily take you through the range. So come on in, experiment, explore, poke, prod and play, because a visit to our stores is just like a hug from your best friend. Where a smile meets a giggle, it’s the world’s greatest place.

    Hey guys

I just have a few suggestions for some things you could make and then hopefully sell in smiggle stores across new zealand ok lets get started

    1. Smiggle lip gloss that smell like the smiggle products.

    2. Start making some new colours and smells i know that you have set colours but it would be great if you have some more in the background.

    3. Smiggle tshirts , hand bags etc it would be awesome!!!

It would be great if my ideas come alive in the smiggle stores but make sure they come alive in palmerston north first hehe!

I think it would be a great idea to give a little gift to smiggle members on their birthday.

I have two suggestions for some things you could make:

    1. More scribble stationery

    2. More rubber designs

It would be awesome if you could make all of our ideas come alive in smiggle stores across Australia and New Zealand.

    Thanks πŸ™‚

i love smiggle, but it is too expensive for me and my friends. I would like to know why it is soooooo expensive. i would also like to see:

    1. smiggle clothes, handbags, shoes, etc

    2. more smiggle items like smiggle bedclothes, lampshades and maybe smiggle makeup and hair products that smell like the smiggle products.
    AND,

I love smiggle a lot. But i think that Smiggle should organize a group and have fundraisers for poor countries, such as Somalia right now. They should sell beaded bracelets, matching the colours and themes of that country in the park or something, have a sausage sizzle, a giant bouncy castle or something like that.
They can have an indoor tent as a Creche for kids seven and under while kids ten and over should organize it.
πŸ˜› Dr Frozo your awesome girl smiggle doctor!!

Hi Dr Frozo, thank you for the email and suggestion. We do have a commitment to, is supporting great charities who believe strongly in the power of creativity and education. In Australia, Smiggle partners with The Smith Family – a national, independent charity that supports disadvantaged Aussie kids to get the most out of their education, so they can create bright, colourful futures for themselves.
